Entryway
The wooden fluted panel full-height cabinet exudes sophistication with clean lines and warm tones, while the custom dark chocolate Calcutta laminate settle offers both elegance and functionality, featuring a niche for shoes.
What truly sets this entryway apart is the ribbed glass backing of the settle, enclosed in a sleek black aluminium frame. This element not only adds privacy from the living hall but also creates a captivating play of light and shadows, adding depth to the space.
Living Room
At the heart of the living room, the TV feature wall is a testament to meticulous design. Crafted using white marble-like laminate, it creates a harmonious contrast against the fluted wood panel backdrop. This thoughtful pairing not only exudes a sense of elegance but also establishes a seamless transition from the entryway, where the same Calcutta laminate was employed, ensuring a cohesive visual narrative throughout.
The custom-designed floating TV console further enhances the air of opulence. Adorned with tinted glass, it adds a layer of refinement to the space while providing a practical solution for media storage.
Altar and Decor Display
A full-height display mirroring the entryway's colour palette showcases curated treasures. Fluted panel cabinet doors seamlessly merge style with functionality, while an elevated LED light imparts elegance.
A customized grey textured altar cabinet that caters to the spiritual devotion of homeowners following the Buddhist faith, this altar blends seamlessly with the gloss grey marble-like flooring, embracing individuality within the greater canvas of elegance.
Dining Area
While keeping their family needs in mind, this Scandinavian Modern Luxury-inspired dining area features a charming half-glass panel that bridges the gap between the dining and kitchen area, fostering a sense of affection that warns the heart.
Kitchen
In every corner of the house, meticulous design choices seamlessly blend with the homeowner's lifestyle. A mesmerising blue-grey marbling backsplash adds enchantment to the kitchen, transforming the act of cooking into a captivating experience. The thoughtful design extends beyond the kitchen.
The connection between the entryway's cabinet and the kitchen's upper cabinets, featuring a harmonious blend of wood, grey, and Calcutta laminate, is enhanced by a built-in sensor LED that serves as a standout design element. This harmony further unfolds with the inclusion of a charming half-glass panel bridging the dining and kitchen areas, fostering a warm and inviting atmosphere of togetherness that aligns perfectly with the family's lifestyle.
The concealed door design, wrapped in matching laminate, hides the bomb shelter door effortlessly, enhancing the sleek look of the entire space.
Common Bedroom 1
Balancing comfort and productivity, this space effortlessly creates an inspiring environment for both relaxation and learning. The platform bed maximises storage space, promoting organization, while black aluminium supports for open shelves add a touch of sophistication while showcasing the homeowner’s children's book and other decorations. The headboard, adorned with LED lights and finished in grey Nippon "Momento" textured paint, complements the customized L-shaped study desk with drawers.
Together, these elements invite young minds to explore, learn, and create, ultimately transforming the space into a welcoming ambience perfect for unwinding after a day of exploration and study. We have included a capacious wardrobe that can accommodate the homeowner's children's clothing storage needs. The whole concept of all those features is not only functional but also aesthetically appealing while avoiding specific themes for the children's area.
Common Bedroom 2
In response to the homeowner's children's needs, the bedroom-study fusion provides a tailored space. The versatile platform bed offers storage underneath, complemented by a personalized L-shaped work desk that allows comfortable reading or study by the bed.
The Nippon Momento textured paint headboard adds character, all within a light oak and white palette, reflecting the Scandinavian Modern luxury theme. Suspended ceiling lights create a peaceful atmosphere ideal for learning and creativity.
An open shelf cabinet combines utility and design, meeting the homeowners' needs. The full-height wardrobe ensures ample storage while maintaining serenity. This space effortlessly integrates into the homeowners' lifestyle, fostering both rest and productivity.
Common Bathroom
Maintaining a cohesive colour scheme that flows seamlessly from the living room to the bathroom and addressing the homeowner's desire for a simple, functional bathroom, we opted for dark grey textured laminate for the bathroom cabinets. Paired with textured cement-look floor tiles and a frameless tempered glass sliding corner entry shower screen, the design not only maximises space but also creates an open, airy feel, relieving any sense of claustrophobia.
Master Bedroom
In response to the homeowners' desire for a serene ambience in the master bedroom, a customized bed was designed with hidden storage underneath for space optimization. The design incorporates a softer colour palette, featuring cream and beige tones, with textured 'Momento' paint finish, adorned with LED lights for the headboard, adding depth and interest.
Fabric-like texture laminates were selected for the full-height wardrobe, along with a small but functional dressing table that not only allows the homeowner to get ready for work but also offers storage space. To address the dead spot at the L-shaped corner, the designers used a pull-out hanger instead of shelves, allowing the homeowner to hang their clothes.
Master Bathroom
With more room to work within the master bathroom and a Scandinavian Modern theme in mind, we chose sliding glass doors framed in black paired with a brass showing head and textured cement-floor tiles to add a touch of elegance elevating the bathroom’s overall aesthetic.
Designing each zone to suit the homeowner's lifestyle with the incorporation of 14 different laminates while balancing aesthetics and functionality has been a challenging yet fulfilling task. It's a journey that showcases the remarkable synergy between creativity and practicality, turning each corner of the home into an unique, tailored space that resonates with the family.
